Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Nujuma, meaning “stars” in Arabic, is a private island resort on Ummahat Island in the Red Sea. The resort features astrology-inspired touches to inspire wonder, from telescopes at each of the 63 overwater and beach villas to star-inspired cocktails at an open-air terrace lounge.
The underwater views are equally stunning. As one of Saudi Arabia’s luxury regenerative tourism destinations, the area boasts one of the world’s largest barrier reefs. Snorkeling and scuba adventures through the crystal-clear waters reveal brightly colored coral and the chance to see more than 165 species of fish, dolphins, sea turtles, and stingrays. Mangroves surround the reef, with desert dunes providing a dramatic backdrop.
Opened in May 2024, the resort’s architecture is inspired by the sea and nature, featuring shell-shaped structures and natural materials throughout. Guests arrive via chartered boat or seaplane to their one-to-three-bedroom accommodations, all with spacious living areas, private pools overlooking the water, and dedicated hosts.
A tranquil spa offers meditation, lunar yoga, and sound healing therapy, complemented by vitality and lap pools and a fitness center. Four culinary experiences embrace local Saudi Arabian traditions, cultures, and flavors, both in ambiance and cuisine.

The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, offers the pinnacle of luxury, blending history and Texas hospitality. The 427-room resort, formerly known as Little Ranch on the Hills, underwent a $55 million renovation after being acquired in 2022. The newly designed retreat, embodying the essence of free spirits, opened in January.
Highlights include a 14,000-square-foot salon and spa, a resort pool with luxury cabanas and a poolside bar, and an Italian restaurant helmed by a Michelin-starred chef.
Located just minutes from downtown Dallas, guests can experience modern Texas luxury in the scenic Las Colinas hills. The property features two 18-hole golf courses certified by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The Nelson Sports and Golf Club is also nearby, offering ample recreation, including tennis, racquetball, and a gym with group exercise classes like aerial yoga and cycling*.
The renovation also introduced Bar Juniper, a new lobby bar inspired by indigenous Texas vegetation, spotlighting clear spirits.
